Carrie Underwood’s “See You Again”

Country princess Carrie Underwood is as close to perfection as an American Idol can get! The peachy sweetheart, (who is currently on the road for her sold out Blown Away Tour), graced the Idol stage to present her new single, “See You Again“. Taking a departure from the darker themes of “Blown Away” and “Two Black Cadillacs“, “See You Again” is a sentimental ballad about the heartache of saying goodbye to someone you care about. The resolve to hold on to those special memories that allow their legacy to carry on with you is echoed in the poignant line, “this is not where it ends”. Carrie sounded and looked gorgeous in this amazing performance, and showed that she has sure come a long way from her small-town roots. Still, she has remained every bit as lovable and relateable as the first day she was introduced to the world through Idol. You blow me away every time, Carrie!

I can hear those echoes in the wind at night
Calling me back in time
Back to you
In a place far away
Where the water meets the sky
The thought of it makes me smile
You are my tomorrow

      1. yes and just sit down with her. Just recently, she said if her hubby Mike asked her to quit her job, she’d do it right away. No questions asked because her marriage comes first. First thoughts: so sweet. We tend to overanalyze these words but honestly, that just makes her a romantic.
