American Idol’s Top 3 Homecoming Queens!

I don’t know about all of you, but I am emotionally spent after watching the American Idol Top 3 show. Fresh off of their hometown visits (where they returned to their roots as Homecoming Queens), the three ladies poured their hearts and souls into those performances, and definitely felt their passion and drive!

Angie Miller rocked it out with P!nk’s “Try” – it was her greatest performance yet! She shined with Elton John’s “Sorry Seems To Be The Hardest Word” and finished on the piano with Emile Sandé’s “Maybe”. Angie is a fierce fighter who is doing Boston proud by encouraging people to dream big! (Angie Comes Home)

Kree Harrison poured emotion into Rascal Flatt’s “Here Comes Goodbye” – it was an amazing vocal and her connection to the song was off of the charts! She raised up the tempo with P!nk’s “Perfect” and The Band Perry’s “Better Dig Two”. Kree is such a warm, loving, and courageous soul – her story touches many hearts. (Kree Comes Home)

Candice Glover delivered a stunning showstopper with “Somewhere” from West Side Story – she is one of those rare singers who can tackle every genre – R&B, Soul, Jazz, and now Broadway! We can also add Rock (U2’s “One”) and Brit Pop/Soul (Emeli Sandé’s “Next To Me”) to that list. Candice is an inspiration with her talent and confidence. (Candice Comes Home)

I give Angie, Kree, AND Candice 10/10. Personally, I think this is the best Top 3 ever – and the closest too! I have no idea which of the two girls will advance to the finale – they all made STRONG cases for themselves last tonight. America has a difficult decision to make, that’s for sure! No matter what happens tonight, they are all champions to me. 🙂
