Michael Buble Brings Swing and Swagger to His Hometown of Vancouver

In the first of his two sold-out concerts at Rogers Arena, Vancouver’s own Michael Buble treated his hometown family to an intimate evening of timeless entertainment.

With a helpful boost from the soulful opening vocal a capella act Naturally 7 and aided by the phenomenal orchestra band, the crowd welcomed Buble with tremendous applause and continued to show their love and support for the Canadian crooner as he performed selections from his most recent album, “Crazy Love”, along with fan favourites such as “Everything”, “Feeling Good” and the inevitable “Home”. The quick-witted Buble also provided many laughs within his banter throughout the night, showcasing the Canuck humour the audience all understands and responds vigorously to, and even showing off his own dance groove with a spontaneous re-enactment of Michael Jackson’s infamous moonwalk.

Early on during the show, in a generous move met with incredible acclaim, Buble announced that all of the profits from that night’s show would be donated to BC Children’s Hospital, a charitable foundation which he has been an active advocate of for many years.

From his re-inventing singing style (of adding a modern twist to classic standards) to his gentleman-ly charms and compassionate heart, Michael Buble has proven himself to be a fine representation of Canadian-bred talent and humanity.
