At the end of April, I fulfilled a lifelong desire of mine by embarking on a trip to my dream destination – London, England. Taking a cue from my favourite independent female icons from British History (I’m looking at you, Queen Elizabeth I and Jane Austen), I took the liberty of traveling across the pond and conquering my first trip to England as a solo adventuress.
Back in 2007, I took my first ‘Big Girl’ trip by venturing to the Big Apple itself—New York City.
With the hustle and bustle on the streets and the contagious vibes of diversity, creativity, and possibility which pulsates throughout the city, I fell in love with New York instantly, and to this day, my heart remains there.
On June 28th, Vancouver’s classic rock fans were treated to a special evening with British Rock Royalty Queen (with active original members Brian May and Roger Taylor) and American Idol‘s Adam Lambert at Rogers Arena.

Happy Birthday to yours truly!
Today, I turned 25. It’s official – I have now been living for a quarter of a century (and have been inducted into the quarter-life crisis zone with the other twentysomethings). It’s hard to believe I’m this old already!
